The Site
Overstone Park, a proposed development for 164 dwellings in
Market Harborough. Following extensive pre-application discussions,
Davidsons Homes were seeking support for a Reserved Matters
application on a site full of technical constraints.
The Scheme
With a very challenging gradient, we knew the design needed
to innovatively address topography so we set out to ‘re-visit’ the
masterplan and develop the detailed scheme from there. To support
our case, we built a 3D model to bring the design to life and illustrate
how the levels could work.
The Success
The Planning Officer compliment us on the 3D visualisations provided
to bring the proposals to life. The approved reserved matters application
represents phase 1 of a multi-phased scheme of up to 600 new homes,
including a new local centre and primary school.
