HUSBANDS BOSWORTH | Leicestershire
The Site
Husbands Bosworth; a development of 30 dwellings in
a Leicestershire village. With an existing and approved
outline planning application (with access), Bowbridge
Homes required a detailed site layout with bespoke
house types that responded to the local vernacular and
made efficient use of the land.
The Scheme
We quickly identified that the originally proposed access
was not located correctly. So, with agreement from
the Local Planning Authority, we prepared a new Full
Application. We also produced a Planning Statement,
Design and Access Statement and a ‘Supporting
Materials and Boundary Treatments’ Plan.
The Success
We successfully secured permission for a revised
scheme, which allowed for the retention of a boundary
hedgerow and achieved specific contractual obligations.
